Art Commissions someday: What do you guys think?

I know I have loads of requests and art trades to finish and that my art skills are probably not good enough ^_^;
But what do you guys think of me starting art commissions, as in money commissions.

I'd like to earn some money doing some drawing requests and help myself to save up for stuff like a new laptop battery, a Wii U, a new computer when this one dies, etc.

I'm going to do cheap prices but I'd like to have your help deciding which prices my art would be worth (I think it would be around the $1-5 mark, myself)
 
I think earning some money could get me out of my art block.
What do you guys all think?
